Common questions

The shield's button doesn't open the quiz

Tapping the shield sends a notification that brings you into the quiz — iOS requires this hop. Check Settings → PlayLock → Notifications is allowed. The app also shows a warning card on its home screen when this is the problem.

My apps didn't unlock after I passed

Make sure Screen Time access is still granted (Settings → Screen Time). The app tells you when access has lapsed. If it keeps happening, email us with your iOS version.

I can't add cards to a deck my coach shared

Shared decks are fully usable on the free plan — study and lock with every card. Adding your own cards to them is part of PlayLock Pro.

Restore a purchase

Open the paywall and tap Restore, signed in with the Apple Account that bought Pro.

Delete my data

Everything lives on your device — delete a deck to remove it, or delete the app to remove everything. See the Privacy Policy.
